Op 28 juni presenteerde Trudo haar plannen voor nieuwbouw op ‘Veld K’ aan omwonenden en geïnteresseerden. Pal voor de Trudo Toren verrijst naar verwachting halverwege 2025 ‘Matchbox’; het eerste gebouw op Strijp-S dat uit houtbouw bestaat. De naam verwijst naar het Engelse woord voor luciferdoosje, vanwege de typische vorm en uitstraling van het gebouw.
